Thank you, goodbye and God bless

Liz and I would like to thank everyone in the parish for the marvellous farewell service on 31 March and for your kind gifts, including the garden furniture for our new house and the generous John Lewis voucher, and for your many letters, e-mails and cards. We have been overwhelmed by the love shown to us and we are thankful for the time we have spent here in the parish, sharing people's lives and faith journeys. It has been a real privilege to be part of the life of this wonderful parish. Thank you to the children of Osbournby School for their farewell too, and to the members of the MAD Club for their fine performance in church. The pictures show the giving back of keys to the churchwardens and church representatives, and the cutting of a beautiful farewell cake. Thank you everyone, goodbye and may God bless you all in the coming days.
