There is a green hill...right nearby
We went on our regular Good Friday pilgrimage up Green Hill, Osbournby, reading the Stations of the Cross on our way up to the cross at the top, where we sang There is a Green Hill and When I survey the Wondrous Cross, and ate Hot Cross Buns. Then over to Aswarby for a service at the church remembering the nails of the cross and how we continue to hurt our Lord, but how he sacrificed himself for us and continues to love us. A Good Friday indeed.

Bishop Nicholas baptises and confirms
Bishop Nicholas visited our parish on 8 and 12 March and met many parishioners. He also baptised Elizabeth Jones from Dembleby, baptised and confirmed Will Wade from Pickworth, and confirmed Paula Allen and Jane Jenkins (Dembleby) and Jo Parker and Betty Swan-Taylor (Folkingham) at a glorious and special service for Mothering Sunday at St Andrew's Folkingham. Many congratulations to all!
