The lead from the church’s south roof was stolen on Friday 21st September 2018. Sleaford Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The church of St Mary & All Saints, Swarby is a grade II listed building dating from the 13th Century Restored in the 19th-century, the church has a Victorian flavour to it with the pews, the nave and the aisle roofs dating from that time.
The church is dedicated to St Mary and All Saints.
Swarby village is in the North Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, approximately 3 miles southwest of Sleaford and 1 mile to the northwest of Aswarby. The church is situated in the centre of the village.
