Aswarby Explorers!
At the end of February, explorers from Osbournby School walked across the fields to Aswarby Church in search of our most famous parishioner ever, George Bass, the man who was born in Aswarby in 1771 and christened in St Denys' Church. He sailed around the world, discovering amongst other things the strait of water between Australia and Tasmania named after him (Bass Strait). Here are some pictures of our very own twenty-first century explorers in action!
